I live in an old house with lots of oak doors, paneling and an original front door. All of this plus some furniture needs updating and I was hoping that would help. I'm sorry, it wasn't what I wanted. The applicator that came with the kit wasn't enough for the job. I had old applicators but they didn't work well. The wax has just hardened. I put the jar in warm water which really helped. I don't know if my wood was too dry or if it needed a lot more wax than intended. This improved the appearance of the tree, but it was a slow process. The jar is small and the wax is deep in the jar so my arthritic hands found it difficult to apply the wax to my applicator. I really liked the results I got, but it will take a little longer to get everything I want.
