Review on 🔌 UCEC 5.25 Inch Front Panel USB Hub with USB 3.0 & 2.0, HD Audio & Microphone Ports for Desktop - 20 Pin Connector & 2ft Cable Included by Rick Everett

This has allowed me to add two additional USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports to the front of my server. The ports worked, were recognized by Windows (Linux I'll check later), but I haven't checked the speed yet (USB 3.0 vs 2.0). The screw holes didn't line up with my slots in the case, and the included screws didn't thread very well into the unit, even with the holes lined up. The width of the front panel is noticeably smaller than the width of the case, so there are gaps. The USB connectors are sturdy and difficult to connect to the flash drives I used for testing. This is all different from other devices I use (DVD drives, SD card reader/writers, other USB ports on the case and motherboard, etc.) which work great with my case (as well as screws) and flash drives. All in all assuming it works really well over time the quality of the build seems low as long as it was close enough well then it should be good enough to sell. I doubt I will buy other UCEC products.
