The material of the strap is thicker than I expected which is good and long enough. It held tight once I figured out how to properly thread the strap through the end of the buckle. The only downside is that you can't tighten the strap after wrapping it around something. You have to adjust the length before clicking the buckle, which means trial and error, which requires a lot of patience. Also, if you cut the strap shorter like I did, be sure to burn the cut end or it could unravel. As I have shortened two of these I will of course keep them, but they are not as user friendly as I would like.
