Definitely runs large. The straight cut jeans are the same size as the sweatpants I ordered, but are significantly smaller. There is no elastic at the waist so they are not supportive and are gathered at the bottom due to the extra length. We use them for skiing so they should last us this weekend but she won't be able to wear them on her own for a while. I would downsize. You are soft. A little thin but soft. Definitely worth the money if you have the right size. It would be great if there was a drawstring so they could stay on.
