These dryer balls are great. They're affordable, help dry laundry quickly, and make things like towels really fluffy. I use them on every load of laundry I run through the dryer. I usually use three of these dryer balls in combination with a large dryer sheet to keep the laundry from getting electrified. I've found that just using these balls without a dryer sheet I can still get some static electricity depending on what I'm drying. Towels only dry well with dryer balls, but sheets usually need a dryer too to avoid static electricity. They definitely help dry clothes quickly. I have a good dryer and had no trouble drying laundry before using these balls, but they seem to cut load times by about 10 minutes compared to using dryer sheets alone. The only downside to these balls is that they are not the color shown in the product photos and they are a bit noisy. The color shown is a mix of turquoise and mint green. Personally, they are much closer to light blue. I didn't care what color they were as long as the color didn't rub off of my clothes or in my dryer and so far they're great. The noise depends on what you are drying. I always try to make sure these balls are in the middle of what's being dried to reduce noise, but if they're outside of the dryer drum they can make a pretty loud pop. They tend to discolor slightly. to the tips of the balls after many uses. I've included photos of two unused dryer balls and two dryer balls that have a drying time of over 25 hours. The edges are a bit dark blue, but that doesn't make them any less usable. Overall I highly recommend them. The price is great, they speed up drying and are great for moving bulky items like blankets in the dryer.
