Review on DCE570B DEWALT 29-Ounce Adhesive Application Tool by Dustin Miller

First I bought a caulking gun and then tried to get parts for 29 ounce glue tubes. I went to the Dewalt website (good luck) and was directed to the Dewalt service center in Denver. I called her at 303-922-8325. I was told they can only sell parts to convert the caulking gun to the gunshot. I work in construction and we don't use raw sausage. I tried calling again just to see if they could sell parts to replace the larger gun with 10 ounce hoses. Once again I was told that I could only shoot the sausage in parts. I went ahead and ordered the gun to fire 29 ounce tubes but found that it was identical to the caulking gun except for the butt and tube holder. The guidelines are the same. for "both" pistols and even includes a link to change to a different barrel size. Does this mean that if a worker runs over the plastic front of any size gun, it can't be fixed by ordering a few parts? I have many Dewalt tools but this one is killing me! I paid about $225 for a large glue gun and all I didn't have were a few bucks worth of parts and a purchase from Dewalt. If interested, they can explain where parts CAN be obtained. If they don't care, I will return to Makita and Bosch in the future.
