We have hard water and relatively new Toto plumbing. Keeping them looking clean without scratching them is a constant challenge. (Yes, I washed off the solution and then rinsed it in a new bowl of water, but still...it was pretty wet even after using the press that came with it. There wasn't a good way to air dry it, huh considered hygienic.) While tablets are decent - especially if you have 2 toilets so one can be out of service for a few hours - as a 'starter kit' it just isn't a good price. The brush is just bad. A "replacement" package with just shims is slightly cheaper, but the unit cost is still high for actual performance.
