What a surprise! It is smaller than my other backpack bags and is perfect for everyday use. My iPhone Plus fits in the front pocket, my slim credit card holder and pens in the security pocket. I have a zippered pocket that holds small items that I don't use often that fits my wallet in the main zippered compartment. Sunglass case and lipstick fit in the open center pocket for quick access. I was afraid that items would fall out of this compartment, but they don't. My bluetooth car key is attached to my back pocket on a longer key chain so I can pull it out to use the key buttons. The purse lies flat on my back and doesn't stick out like some do. It's just well made and designed! I also order in black. Love it! PS: No smell at all and I find it is like real leather.
