I ordered this kettle because I liked my favorite color and the blue light. It heats up and shuts off quickly, it works perfectly, but after the first three days the lid doesn't hold up and there's already a green ring at the bottom. Since the lid doesn't stay down, it takes a little longer to heat up, and when I poured it there was quite a bit of moisture on top. But I love it and would order again, I just hope that's the only problem. UPDATE: I liked this more greenish-yellow teapot when I first got it in May of this year, but not so much now. The lid now stays 1/3 inch instead of closing tight, the gray tape that goes through the lid has "peeled" on one side of the lid, also it no longer closes. I am extremely disappointed. that this happened because I like everything else about it, the blue light and the color of the teapot. Also, I can't believe how much the price has gone up since I bought mine! It's almost $32 now, and it was $19.99 when I bought it. it's in May!
