Nice, simple, inexpensive design that works right on my Z axis I've been looking for an inexpensive Z axis for my PCB factory and although there are a few cheaper ones out there that do the quality their construction looked questionable, and some of them looked downright rickety. I removed the black plastic side covers because I couldn't mount the mounting plate on top of it, but it still works great and now fits the plate snugly and evenly. Tightening the nuts on the rails is a little tricky, but overall not too bad. The included Nema23 stepper motor was powerful enough to raise my 400w brushless spindle at a decent speed. The ballscrew is a really nice upgrade over many Acme leadscrews once you're used to it.
