First of all, this bowl is heavy! Not recommended for travel. I was a bit unsure about the size but when I picked it up everything was fine. For reference, the brush used is Omega 10066. It appears to be made of solid stone, which is a nice feature. Inside there are micro-grooves that help to shake the soap or cream. Fits well in my hand too! In terms of depth, it easily fits in the proraso soap dish (without the lid). The width of the hole roughly corresponds to the lid of the proraso soap dish. In addition, this bowl holds the heat very well. If I leave it filled with hot water while in the shower, the foam gets warm with use! It's a nice addition to my setup and I look forward to using it! would recommend.
