Use this "dragon" as a scarecrow in our vineyard. I bought this JEKOSEN 70" Bald Eagle along with 5 other different predatory "kites" to use as a bird deterrent to prevent birds from eating the Cabernet grapes when they are ready for harvest in about a month I installed it on 10' of 3/4" PVC pipe with a 5' adapter of 1/2" PVC pipe forming a 15' tall pole. Tie the end into the hole. Then attach 4ft of kite rope to the large line swivel on the zip loop and then use a small paperclip to attach this rope to the kite. The pole and "kite" were tied to trellis posts.with one "kite" per acre.Am very effective for the first day and after 2 weeks of use continues to be an excellent bird scarecrow.several more.Next week I'll be adding a Bird-X sound generator for an extra layer of bird repellency - just to make my vineyard less desirable and more tra practice for harvesting on the vine. Highly recommended as part of a bird control plan for vineyards, orchards and meadow orchards. Works perfectly!
