Review on ๐Ÿ—๏ธ TENZI BUILDZI: Stacking Building Game for Players by Collin Donahue

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as much. But with the right people it's fun.

So when I played this game for the first time I was a bit disappointed. I played it with my older sisters. And while it was a different game than the usual board or card game, it was a little disappointing. It went by quickly, felt like it was over before it even started, and wasn't the fast-paced entertainment I was expecting. But my 5 and 7 year olds wanted to play it one night so I seem to be doing fine and we had a blast! I saw the game in a whole new light. It was fun. I'm not very quick at it, so I hate to admit it, but we were all on the same level of play. And my kids absolutely loved it, they wouldn't stop when I finally told them it was time for bed. So overall I think it's a great game. I don't know what happened to me. Maybe it was the audience I played with. Maybe my sisters and I are too tired and can't play games. But it's a short, fast-paced party game that you can play when you're short on time or don't want to play a long strategy/monopoly game. I think I like Tenzi and Slapzi more, but I recommend Buildzi to any family that needs something fun, easy, fast and is a fan of other "-zi" games. Just know that it's not that much and you finish very quickly, but it could be a good time. One of the few games I enjoy playing with my young children.
