I wanted these hooks for hanging towels on the bathroom mirror and for hanging things like collars and leashes on the front door. The hooks can bear a lot of weight due to the metal construction. I hung them (on a non-porous surface) with nanotape because I'm used to it. The weight of the harness, muzzle and leash is no problem with the Nanoribbon. I was wary of using glue to attach the hooks and didn't want to wait a day or two for the glue to set before using them. The hooks are smooth, smooth-colored, and don't have a large, exaggerated hook shape that snags on things, causing items such as small or carelessly placed towels to fall off. But if you're a little careful or hang items that are easier to hang, they'll stay fine. You can also add something or sand the surface to make the hooks less slippery. I'm happy with them for the price, for my needs.
