Permanent solution to potential disasters for all 1st Gen Nissan Armada/Titan vehicles

My mechanic installed this Koyorad radiator on my 2012 Nissan Titan SL 4x4 along with the long Tru Cool SR 4588- Transmission cooler, Koyorad SK-C13 radiator cap and new 4070975 Continental serpentine belt to replace my original 2012 belt. Other items I purchased for this job include: Gates Transmission Oil Cooler Hose 27056 and 5/16" Fuel Injection Hose Clamps, 10 pack so you can the clamps can be doubled on your transmission lines wherever possible. The all-aluminum body (combined with a separate transmission cooler) will last the life of the truck and is a one-time solution to Nissan's dreaded Strawberry Milkshake of Death (SMOD) that occurs when one of the plastic tanks on coolers OEM style cracks occur.Your cooling medium and your transmission oil will be mixed up and your transmission will end up paying the highest price. If you own a 2004-2015 Nissan Titan or Armada. a permanent solution like this combination of radiator and separate transmission cooler. You'll be spending $150-$200 more on parts, but rest assured that coolant and transmission fluid will never mix again with this setup. Update 07/11/2019: Just completed 350 miles. through Pennsylvania and noticed my transmission temperature fluctuated between 140 and 145 degrees throughout the drive according to my Bullydog GT tuner. I didn't tow. I used to have a transmission temp of 169-171 degrees on the same trip, without towing, when driving with road temperatures in the 80's. This heatsink and the LongTru Cool SR4588 Transmission Cooler Mod were totally worth the money. I highly recommend!
