Some one star reviews say it's fake, but it's not. This is a genuine 250GB SATA HARD DRIVE, totally safe to use. It's no different than buying Hard Dive from the store and using it for your 360. It works for ALL your Xbox 360 needs like installing games for faster downloads and downloading XBLA, games on demand, music, videos, save games and profiles. It does NOT have Microsoft software to play original Xbox games like Halo 1 and other first Xbox games. Here people seem to call it fake. ANY NON-Microsoft hard drive DOES NOT have a software emulator to play XBox Original games. And Microsoft seems to think it's worth charging you an extra $50 for a feature that many gamers never use. I don't have the disc for the original Xbox so can't tell if they will play or not, but the downloaded versions WILL NOT PLAY (NO EXCEPTIONS)! If you haven't downloaded all original Xbox games and play them often, this is NOT for you. However, if you're just starting your Xbox 360 journey or aren't worried about original Xbox games, THIS is for you. A great addition to any Xbox 4GB system.
