These diapers are good for us! They are comfortable, work well, soft and cute. Amazon Mama Bear aside, these are generally the cheapest and semi-eco-friendly diapers out there. We've been using them for about a year and have tried Mama Bear - we like them better despite the slightly higher price. We've had fewer problems with diaper rash and fewer problems with leakage. They seem to fit our baby's shape better. I also don't like Mama Bear's waistline (although if you like haggis, you might feel differently). I appreciate that the 7th gen has set the standard that Amazon needs to surpass and in my opinion they haven't done it yet. Therefore, I will continue to fund the seventh generation in the hope that it will continue to innovate! FYI, we searched a total of 6 brands and a few cloth diapers because I was on the hunt for discounts. Bambo and Babyganix, but I like these better. The new Bambos are outrageously expensive and I just can't justify that. Babyganics feel like they are made of cardboard and I had to crumple them up before putting them on my baby to soften them. The diapers were great for our newborn but pretty horrible for the environment and didn't offer anything a seventh generation wouldn't have. And I didn't like the haggis at all because it spilled on our baby and released chemicals into the landfill.
