Hmmm interesting for boxing gloves

I've been boxing (accidentally) for more than ten years, never fought among amateurs because I'm in business and don't have time to devote to it. But I still fought crappy tough man-style boxing matches once a year. I've had boxing gloves from a variety of brands over the years: Title, Everlast, Offbrand, etc. These are the most dense and compact 16 ounce boxing gloves I've ever owned. They weren't joking when they said they were "punch gloves". It's hard to get to and I'm not a tall guy (5ft 7142lbs). They are so compact that I feel like a professional fighter. They feel and look like 14 ounce gloves which is crazy and is damn good for my ego because they let me punch harder and faster than any other 16 ounce glove I've had. It's like I've driven a truck my whole life and suddenly switched to a supercar like a Ferrari. Smooth gloves, love them, hope they last for years as all the rumors say. Cons: The thumb of these gloves is very short, my thumb usually breaks at the end and it gets uncomfortable. Although I have unnaturally large and lanky hands/fingers for my 5ft 7in height. I guess Mexicans have short fingers or something. Also, the thumb connector that holds your thumb in place is a bit loose and your thumb moves more than other gloves. I even missed hitting the bag and got my thumb pinched and it hurt a lot. I prefer to have my thumb sewn seamlessly onto the entire glove rather than just a small half inch piece of leather holding it in place. That's the only real downside I have for this glove, the thumb could be a lot better.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
