Nicely designed measuring cup but the size markings are not clear

The Luvan 4 cup/1 liter measuring cup is different from the regular measuring cup. It looks more like a mug with a handle than a mug, which makes this item interesting. I love the sleek glass design and that it's made from borosilicate material which allows for both heating and cooling. And while the design is a lot thinner than a typical measuring cup, overall build quality seems good. Of course, you have the impression that if you press it too hard, it will break. I will keep you up-to-date. One thing I didn't pay much attention to was the gauge markings. They are nowhere near as bright and legible as the promotional photos. And they are not only matt, but also printed on one side, very close to the handle. That seems strange. Even though it shows measurements in liters, cups, and ounces, it uses a weird set of numbers for ounces. For example 2, 6, 10, 14 etc. instead of the standard 4, 8, 16 and 32 ounce labels. Also, it has no markings for pints and quarts. Of course, most people know that 16 ounces is a pint and 32 ounces is a quart, but still. Those quibbles aside, this is definitely a quality measuring cup with a nice design.
