I noticed that the box I kept them in glowed. The fairy lights were on and the switch didn't work at all to turn them off! So I took the battery out to turn them off and now they won't turn on at all when I put new batteries back in. Looks like the battery posts are rusted (I've only used this glowing filament a couple of times and never in the rain?) and the switch knob is loose, looks like there's a white powdery substance underneath (mold? idk). I am disappointed in these headlights and also concerned that they may malfunction and turn on by themselves! I'm glad they don't get hot, that could pose a serious fire hazard! If the manufacturer reads this, it would be nice to get a replacement. I've only had them for about 3 months and so far very little :(
