Easy to fit but I had to trim the helmet to make room for the mounting clip. I just don't trust tape mounting plates. Although I think I found out too soon. After 6 months of riding, the thin plastic of the mount had dried out from the sun (it only saw daylight while I rode it), became brittle and crumbled at the impact point. This is a vise. This is an unavoidable item. All of this shows that they had to make the mounting plate out of a better material. Right now I'm literally just gluing the FreedConn block directly to my helmet. While the controls aren't great, it feels reliable and affordable and gets the job done.
