its great! I've bought much more expensive similar styles but I VERY prefer how they fit! The straps on the sides aren't loose, but they don't cut like most swim trunks. I think it has to do with the way they are sewn - they are folded in half so the top has a brim and the bottom doesn't. And so the fabric also gives freedom where you grow taller and you don't have spandex lines on the buttocks. Also, the ones I've had before were more like swimsuit fabrics, but they're more like what you would find in a ballet leotard, so I think they're more forgiving. For reference, I am 5 years old. "6", 125-130 pounds and usually wear 2/4, and I bought a small/medium size. I will buy at least one more color. Maybe more!
