I keep this on the fridge in my workbench kitchen when I'm making French presses. That's basically all it's used for, and that's what it works for. Two things to note: 1. It cannot be stopped, you must stop it. (So make sure you can hear it.) 2. If you stop it, it will reset to the time you set. So if you use it for other purposes you always have to delete it (but if you use it for the same, I think it saves a step.) It's easy to set with the minute and second buttons. Start and stop with the s/s button. Delete by pressing M and S at the same time. That's all! Runs on AAA batteries and comes with a few so you can start your timer right away.
