Review on EASYGUARD EC200-K9 Car Alarm System LCD Pager Remote Start Turbo Timer Mode Shock Alarm 12V Long Range by Damien Krzywicki

Love the dual sided remotes, some bad options on features

First of all, this is a VERY tricky setup unless you have a lot of experience with this. I strongly recommend you hire someone to install it. The rest of the device works great, having a 2-way remote is amazing, way more than I expected and the range is really good. They don't have a separate ignition disable wire so you need to use a relay to have the alarm turn on the ignition for remote start or turbo timer but also allow the ignition to be detected when it's on and trigger the alarm. On the other hand it was very handy when working on the car (replacing the turbo) as I could turn off the siren, then set the alarm and crank the engine to get oil pressure in the new turbo without starting the engine. A few features I'm not happy with: 1: Automatic arming that cannot be deactivated, this happens 30 seconds after turning off the ignition and opening and closing the door. Will probably be fine during everyday use but just make sure you have the keys when you get out so your car turns on and the doors lock with the keys inside. If the auto-guard could be disabled it wouldn't be a problem. 2: Connection with only one door trigger. On my Supra, the driver and passenger doors use a positive trigger, while the trunk and hood use a negative trigger. The alarm itself only has one terminal that can be used both positive and negative, so I had to buy a relay board so all inputs would send a trigger on each actuation.
