Bottom Bed Approved

While this set is advertised as a study lamp and could certainly be used for that, the design and features also make it a good option for some other things such as lighting in an entertainment center, reading lamps in a bunk bed or the like in another location where task lighting can be used in a room where the light strips can be mounted on the underside of something and there is an outlet nearby. I actually used this set for the bottom of a bunk bed. It's always very difficult to get decent lighting in the lower bunks to lie down and read to your child in the evenings. Upper bunks block most of the overhead lighting, and bunk beds typically don't often have side tables to place a lamp on (especially bunks with drawers below, since any furniture placed next to the bed will block the drawers from opening). . These lights are a great solution as you can attach the light strips to the underside of the top bed and mount the dimmer on the wall or bed frame and then run the power cord behind/at the side of the bed to the nearest outlet. . Then you have adjustable lighting that provides just the amount of light you need in the lower bunk and you can turn it on/off/dim while lying in bed. Installation is versatile and easy if you have at least minimal DIY skills.
