Works well with hard veggies, less so with softer ones
Shredded carrots very well but potatoes failed. The discs simply got stuck in the cylinder and were difficult to remove. It's easier to just cut with your hands. He also just chopped the onions, which made my eyes water more than slicing them by hand, so I'd say it's better for hard veggies and cheeses than softer ones. It was very easy to peel (after scraping out all the potatoes and onions). Just make sure it's fully inserted into the blender before tightening the screw, otherwise it'll spin when turned on.
