At first I was put off by these products because you have to drill. Don't worry about that. This is very easy. Installed in less than 90 minutes. Take the extra time and unscrew all the paste on either side of the cargo bay to get to the 3 nuts holding the rear lenses in place. Be careful not to drop the nuts because. You won't find them later. When I turned them on, I didn't have a brake light on the passenger side, so I still had to go to the outside light receiver. This got me moving all of the rear plastic back to get to the holes for the 3 studs/nuts holding the tail light. Very easy to install. Ask for help to align the driver's side. Getting it right on the passenger side before you mark the holes to be drilled will save you a lot of readjustment (drill 3 new holes). But drilling is easy. I had a cross bit in my drill bit and just put it in the holes and made marks on the metal at the three bracket positions before actually drilling the holes. I think it saved me time. They look great and you won't see them on every passing FJ car. Highly recommend as they look great and offer some lens protection off-road.
