My grandson (age 12) has grown dramatically over the past year. He looks more like a young man now with a smarter build (5ft 5in, 149lbs, 33in waist, 39in hips, 27-28in inseam, shoe size 8.5 or 9) and I thought that would be useful, to indicate its size. so that you can estimate your size accordingly. I bought him a 20 husky and he's probably closer to a 19 husky but of course they aren't that size. In recent years he has worn the same pants in a smaller size. It's stretchy, very comfortable, and a little lighter than most jeans. I'm so glad we can get these jeans last year because after that we'll probably buy pants that are too long because we need a waist size. Just to be on the safe side, I also bought Levi's Boys 505 Regular Fit 16 Husky Jeans which had a 34x28 on the label and he couldn't get them past his knees. I'm so glad Lee makes these pants. completely exceeded our expectations.
