Review on Waring Commercial WW180X Heavy Duty Double Belgian Waffle 🧇 Maker: 50 Waffles per Hour, Non-Stick Cooking Plates, 1400W Power by Jason Stokes

I have owned a breakfast restaurant for 10 years. During this time I realized that I HATE waffle irons. They simply do not withstand commercial use, the top or bottom element dies off. WOW I just checked my Revain purchase history and since 2006 I have bought 19 Waring waffle irons and 16 other brands including Gold Medal, Star, Carbon and Kitchenaid. Prices for these devices ranged from $800 to $99. After $800 units die after a few months, I vow never to burn again and I buy $99 units that range from 2 weeks to 2 months. Then, if 5 or more $99 units die, I think maybe I should try the $800 units again. So this time I decided to give this unit a try, the Waring Commercial WW200, which falls in the middle between the $800 and $99 units. I bought this device in September 2013. It died in January 2014. (Note - I purchased an extended warranty on this unit for $37.98 - guess what? This warranty doesn't take effect until the Waring warranty expires - I've never had a Waring device that has passed the 6 month mark) OK Let's get back to history. So this unit died in January 2014. I had to call Waring who REALLY sent another unit in no time - thanks. TODAY. This unit is dead and I'm going to call Waring right away. So. This is the gist of this review. If you're using these devices in your home, you're spot on. If commercial, allow about 2 months. I wish Waring would let me buy a box of cells - then I could start fixing 19 bad modules (just kidding, I don't keep them) and save a lot of money - wait a minute. What I think? I don't have to spend time fixing waffle makers, I have to sell groceries and run my own business.
