This is a nice little 3 tube propagation station. It could also be used as a bud vase for blooms from the garden. The flat-bottomed test tubes are 1 inch in diameter and three different heights: 4.5, 5.5, and 7 inches. The wood base looks like it is unfinished so I will be spraying it with a clear sealant to protect it. The set came securely packaged, including each test tube in it's own foam wrapper. Great product at a great price! Am sure I will be ordering a second set since these are perfect for propagating cuttings such as Pothos, Wandering Jew, Sweet Potato Vine, Purple Prince-Alternanthera, etc.
