Review on Upgrade Your Gauge: Universal Auto Sensor Unit for Oil/Water Temperature - 1/8-27 NPT by Doug Mancilla

I spent a couple of hours installing this probe, coiling the wiring with a new braided cover, soldering the crimps, and cleaning the sandwich panel that it sits in located. The sensor is on, but the sensor does not show the oil temperature. I'm not sure, maybe I wired it wrong, I assumed it was non-polar, and since the wires are white and blue I assumed white is + and blue is -. Since they switch plugs on the wires, you can't just unplug them and plug them in some other way. The blue wire is male and the white wire is female, so the opposite wires are also opposite and cannot be switched unless you buy new plugs and connect the wires.
