I inherited a very demanding parrot and at 40 he is quite settled. I wanted to switch him to a better diet of whole foods and extra pellets. I tried to cook a chop, did many different things to get him to eat veggies at all, but to no avail. I mean, this bird is picky and basically wants to eat whatever it wants (usually unhealthy food). I was finally able to get him to eat more parrot friendly food and on a whim I decided to try these pellets. Much to my surprise, he liked her the first time. Now I place a few in the center of his plate and surround the balls with whole pieces of fresh food (because Mr. Picky Pants doesn't like his food touching). It grinds the pellets into powder and then eats them. I'm surprised. If you're a picky bird parrot, you know how to fight. Also a bonus because they are organic, non-GMO and contain no sugar, salt or anything weird, they are a whole food. I'm so glad I took the chance and tried it.
