Review on ☕ 5-Cup Black Coffeemaker by BLACK+DECKER, Model DCM600B by Sharon Watson

BLACK+DECKER 5-cup coffee maker, black, DCM600B was ordered to replace a similar Black & Decker 5-cup coffee maker that I have. The previous coffee maker carafe fell and broke and I decided to buy this one. The main difference is that older coffee makers didn't have a built-in stove and therefore the coffee couldn't stay hot after brewing. It's just a regular hot plate coffee maker that holds 5 cups (6 ounces each) of coffee. Over the years we've had a variety of coffee makers from large 12 cup, percolator, Keurig and other types depending on year and type. we wanted. This can be said immediately, without any prejudice. This Black & Decker coffee maker produces more delicious coffee than any other model we've used. Of course the type of coffee used can make a difference, but generally we use this model as our everyday coffee maker. She quickly brews 3 cups (6 ounces each) of my wife's regular coffee and then she brews my 5 cups of decaf. The coffee pot is small, light and easy to clean. We use unbleached coffee filters, but smaller wire mesh strainers are fine too. Both are acceptable. Another advantage of this coffee maker is that it can be used when traveling without taking up too much weight or space. If this coffee maker has a fault then it could be due to the materials used in the product. The plastic of the coffee maker is significantly thinner than the previous Black and Decker model. This is just an observation and not necessarily something that detracts from the quality of the product. Another positive thing about this product is that it is cheap at around $26. CONCLUSION: I would buy this product again without hesitation. We don't need a big, bulky coffee maker for our morning coffee, and this Black & Decker definitely fits our needs. We've traveled with much more expensive 1-cup insert coffee makers, pressure coffee makers, and more, and this coffee maker is just what we need.
