I doubted these bags would hold up, but I've been using them for a few weeks now and have never had an initial problem. I have 4 cats which is a lot of rubbish and I felt guilty about all the plastic I threw in the bin. Now I have the certainty that I am not harming the environment. I find the bags as comfortable as anything I've used in the past. Although they don't have ties, the material is so flexible that it's easy to pull the ends together and tie a knot. I don't throw leftovers in until there is paper on the bottom to prevent leftovers from coming in contact with the bag if that would damage the bag. So a little more awareness is required, but the result is worth it. I do not find this product more expensive than what I have bought in the past. A regular garbage bag lasts about 3 days in my kitchen and stays strong. The litter box sits in the garage and I use it for about 4 days before throwing it in the bin and again no damage to the material. Follow the storage and use instructions and I think you will be satisfied with the product.
