I bought it for a work bag and it works fine for that. That too is strong. I never think twice before downloading it. The handles are long enough that you can carry it on your shoulder, but short enough that you can carry it in your hand without touching the ground too close. The color is pleasant and neutral. The texture falls somewhere between a type of dense canvas called "duck" and the type of man-made canvas often used for backpacks. It's not a zip top, which I really didn't want.
