Doesn’t fit in 12” cabinet opening

Despite saying this is 11.5” wide, it is actually wider and while it is able to be placed inside a 12” opening, the slots that hold the upper shelf sit on the outside and stop it from being able to be pulled out. It hits the inside frame of the cabinet. The overall actual width of this more than 11.5”.
