Some people have had trouble removing caps.
Some people have had problems with caps coming off in the wash but mine causes no problems and I ride about once a week. I would suggest sticking the circle of glue that came with the kit over the top of the screw and then putting the cap on it, rather than sticking the circle into the cap and sliding it over the screw so the circle doesn't push in too far the cap makes it hard to glue.
