I bought these and some pepperballs to charge a home security shop. I use the Tippmann Stormer Elite and I have a range of 150-200 feet with these balls and they will break a glass jar at 75 feet. My guess is they would probably be fatal if shot in the eyes or temples. In any other place, bones are easily bruised or broken. I'd say it's a good way to protect against lunatics intending to break into my house or worse, but it won't do too much damage to bystanders if they bounce off.
