Although I own a Blue Guardian PH stick I bought these PH strips specifically for kombucha. I didn't want to cross contaminate my hydroponic PH pen in my SCOBI kombucha. The strips arrived quickly and were securely packaged. My kombucha kit came with a set of test strips that were white and easy to read. These strips were yellow, and accurate measurements were a bit harder to read. However, there are so many test strips that you can easily retest for better clarification. One of the most important ways to ensure they work properly is to hold the strip ABOVE the colors and not to the side. For my application it worked fine. Not great but good. I would (still) recommend it
