As promised, I was reluctant to write a review until after using this product. That's how it is with all my reviews, I use the product before I review it. These balls were on my wish list for about a year before I bought them. They are expensive and I was hoping they would go on sale but they didn't. I have to tell you they are worth every penny. For cookies and melons, I wanted them to find an easier way to make cookies and serve melons. I didn't use them right away because I'm disabled and need the strength and energy to bake cookies, plus I've never had a shovel for such a task, I was a little intimidated by the fancy new tool I was able to use . I'm really amazed at how smoothly the scoop works! I thought it would be tricky that you had to press down a bit to loosen the dough. You know! I have photos to show that I actually used the shovel. Of course they aren't perfect as it was my first time, it was nice to have the same shaped cookies for a change! Although I've only used ice cream scoops for ice cream before, I've never used them for cookies. These scoops are high end and put normal scoops to shame! So if you've been eyeing them but the price is keeping you from buying them, two words for you. Do that! You will not regret it! If I needed another set I would buy again but they are well made and these people stand behind their product and I don't need two sets! The only thing I would like is a fourth, larger scoop, like a giant ice cream cone and cupcake sized. The largest scoop is a bit small for other jobs. denial of responsibility.
