Ideal for closet ventilation. I have a processor in the closet. I left a large gap in the front of the case and an exhaust vent next to the case fan, hoping this would be enough to keep my CPU cool, but the case temp was always around 110. I bought it, flipped the grill over and installed them. both in such a way that they draw hot air from the top of the cabinet. I closed the drilled holes for the cables in such a way that cold air only enters through a slit in the front of the housing. It immediately lowered the case temperature to a constant 80 degrees, even when processing photos or heavy computing power. There are bigger and fancier fans out there, but they did their job. I only gave it 4 stars because it would be nice if they included some mounting screws instead of rubber feet and if it had a longer USB cable. They seem to have it set up to just sit on top of an equipment vent and don't have the hardware to mount it to a cabinet opening.
