I bought these to protect my new black 2016 Ram 1500 Crew Cab truck from salt spray during the Minnesota winter. They were easy to install with clear instructions. The flaps feel well made and fit perfectly to the contour of the car. They came with a 3M screen protector which I didn't want to use. I tried adding it before installing one of the rear fenders but didn't like how it looked so I removed it. After installing the shields there was a small gap between the edge of the shield and the truck body so I don't think it will rub against it and damage the paint. I guess I'll have to wait and find out. I also used the 8p heated nail trick mentioned in another review to punch a hole for 3 screws on the rear flaps. It worked great.
