While I can't speak to durability, I can tell you that it has reduced the play on my Lotmaxx SC-10 Shark to almost zero. The lead screw runs buttery smooth through this POM and should work fine so far. While I bought this for one reason, it really helped with two. My printer has ABL, and when printing at 60mm/s or more, the automatic platform leveling causes the Z-axis stepper motor to make a thump when moving up and down quickly to compensate for platform vibration. Once installed, I have to be close to the printer to hear it, whereas before I could hear it loudly from all over the room. An added benefit was the Z-band reduction to near zero, money well spent but in my case it should have been cheaper. opinion.*edit*had to go back and add the negatives after a while. The fact that it is a game guard and the nature of this part is very strange that I have already had a problem with the Z axis falling off after turning off the stepper motor. The noise reduction isn't as great as I thought it would be either. during further tests.
