First of all the first impression is pretty good and I really like the all metal construction. Except for the plastic handle. It barely fits with my Otterbox case on my Samsung 8.4 Pro tablet. Even with the hard outer case on my phone, it didn't fit at all. However, with the outer shell removed but with a silicone sleeve for protection, it fits very well. There are also several mounting options with 1/4 20 screw holes, but I find the mounting shown in my picture to be ideal. It also fits perfectly with my existing tripod. Check? Probably like 9 for all metal construction and 6.5 for fit as it doesn't do as well for thicker cases. But for the price I paid. Less than $20. I think it's a lot. Edit 7/9/2021: Okay, I liked the first one so much that I had to buy the second one for a tripod. So basically I use one of the metal clamps in combination with a wide magnetic base. Thus, the combined two ball heads increase the height of the tablet to the ideal height and angle. So the second one is for the Manfrotto tripod haha my wife will be using this to record her piano lessons on her cell phone. Therefore, after a few weeks of use, I increased the rating to 5 stars. When used within its limits.
