Totally agree with ItRachel. I bought this SPT 3.6L from the Revain store just before Christmas at great prices. He arrived on time. However, when I used it, the hot water got a very strong chemical taste. After washing, scrubbing and rinsing several times in the past month, the problem is still there. So my guess is that there are harmful chemicals in either the metal or the plastic material. Now I just put this product aside. Consider returning this item. After reading ItRachel's experience I decided not to worry about going back. I'll just throw it in the trash as I don't have time to make a lot of nasty phone calls and I still have to pay shipping (about 40% of the value of the item). Not to mention that I no longer have the original packaging. All in all, don't buy Sunpentown.
