I use my Bose QC35 every day, whether it's meeting or listening to music. My original ear pads started to tear apart and the $35.xx OEM price scared me. I picked these based on some verified reviews, but after using my headphones for a few hours with these new ear pads, I understand why OEMs are likely to be expensive. One good thing about them is that they come with a pretty handy tool to easily install new ear pads. As for the not so good stuff. The noise cancellation is definitely not as good as the original. There is definitely some leakage and the pad itself (cheaper material?) may be to blame. From the same point of view, regular pillows are much more comfortable; softer. I found in some reviews that people actually liked these firm pillows, so I guess that's pretty subjective. If you're particularly concerned about noise cancellation and don't like outside ambient noise, get the OEMs! I began to appreciate the role ear pads actually play in noise cancellation after using them! Update: I sent them back. The ear pads are even smaller than the OEM ear pads.
