Review on AvoDerm Natural Tuna Recipe Wet Cat Food for Healthy Skin & Coat (Case of 24, 3 oz) by Gregory Popo

Let me start by saying that I am a long time customer and have been buying Avoderm Tuna & Crab wet food for my cat for 11 years. This is literally the only food he will eat! Until their recent acquisition by a larger company and the new company decided to change the recipe without putting it on their label (probably to save money and also try to scam their customers). Result? The most disgusting cat food ever! ORIGINAL FOOD: Pink flesh, cat-sized chunks, with white crab chunks on it, similar to humans, odor was pleasantly disgusting, gelatinous filler. Are you kidding me? My cat doesn't touch anything! And I hate cooking it now anyway! it's so rough And since I *always* buy 3 packs at a time, I now have a mountain of unused cans in my closet that I now want to donate to the Humane Society. Although, maybe better in the trash? No cat should eat that! My cat could only eat ONE of these foods because, like a cat, she is very picky. He's also ill, battling cancer and pancreatitis and on chemo so he can't digest kibble and it's very important that I keep his weight down. When he started refusing to eat consecutively for the past two weeks I was completely panicked and confused! A quick Google search led me to a press release from the company announcing the acquisition. After testing many other flavors and brands, I found Tiki Cat's competitor at TG - they also have tuna and crab flavors and it looks like he loves it! Not to mention that the food is superior to Avoderm in every way! If you want to switch, this could be a good choice for your cat. I'm so thankful I found a new brand that he likes. To the decision makers behind the new Avoderm, you have made a difficult 2020 even more difficult for those of us with picky cats. It is outrageous what you have been doing behind the scenes and I am no longer an Avoderm customer.
