Over the past two years my skin has become incredibly sensitive to soaps, fragrances, detergents, hair products and so on. Since then I've been looking for the perfect shampoo and conditioner set for my hair type and sensitive scalp. I found them as a suggestion on a sensitive skin blog. I really can't decide what I think of this set, but here are the pros and cons. Shampoo Pros: BEST Natural Fragrance. It smells like orange blossom, but not overly floral and certainly not synthetic. Has not/has not yet caused an allergic reaction or scalp irritation. Disadvantages of the shampoo: when washing, the hair becomes like straw or hay! That's the weirdest thing. I have straight straight hair, not usually very frizzy or tangled, and when I wash my hair with this shampoo it becomes very coarse. Pros of the conditioner: Corrects the rigidity of the shampoo. Has not/has not yet caused an allergic reaction or irritation on the scalp. Negative about the conditioner: it literally smells of mold. I do not know why. It has the same "smell" as the shampoo, as the name suggests, but it doesn't smell very nice. I personally smell it faintly when I sniff it out of the bottle and when I hold it in my hands in the shower it smells SO BAD! For example, leaving wet clothes in the wash for too long or bad cheese. Oddly enough, as soon as I put it on my hair, it either goes away or I stop noticing it. My hair smells normal after showering and my boyfriend has never noticed the smell in my hair. Also, my hair doesn't smell good after showering. It doesn't smell bad, but it doesn't smell ✨good✨ In general, the set is just great. It's not bad enough for me to send them back, but I don't think I would buy them again. I read other reviews about the smell and decided to try it myself. They made no mistake and it's not so bad that I can't stand it but I don't like it and it will definitely put me off ordering again. I wish it smelled better.
