I make a wide range of 3D candles. I ordered a hemp wick to use primarily with soy wax, but have also tried it with other waxes due to flame quality issues. It was very low and even managed to go out along with some of my candles. Normally that doesn't happen. I have found that when I add candle dye to any type of wax it affects how the wick works. I couldn't add much flavor to the wax either. I've tried it with no flavors or coloring and the flame burns consistently, but it's far from ideal. I asked about it and was told it might be my wax. I have tried different soy, paraffin and palm waxes.
