Bought to test cables prior to a permanent installation and to monitor our fleet of portable cables and it does the job perfectly - quickly and a simple test and many options, including methods for testing already installed cables. Fine once you get used to it, but since it's microprocessor controlled and not just a quick test it would be nice if there was an option to switch these ports to TS so you can get a clean reading, especially considering how common it is they are.
